thinkfast (acuity)

what about a game which requires you to perform tasks quickly to test your ability to make quick decisions

and it rates you on:
how good your score is (how many questions you got right)
how many did you answer in the time frame

maybe it's like jeopardy... where you choose categories and it will randomly pick from the chosen categories

these "questions"/problems would be
mathematical (78 + 23)
grammatical (fill in the blank)
historical
spacial/visual
critical thinking
audio clues (riff ask you for artist sound)
visual clues (picture asks you for the artist)
geographic
in order to do this, you'd need an easy way of responding
(i.e. we would need to standardize the answers i.e. in landscape mode

interactive (the answer is not multiple choice)

there would also be a "multiplayer" component to it which would keep daily leaderboards and all time and leaders in each section

new tests every day

"daily double"

accumulate points/etc.

tracks
1) how many you got right/wrong per category
2) how quickly you answered (your response time)

daily leaderboard
overall
each category
all time leaderboard

"finesse" games

people generally think of video games tests/simulations your reflexes and quick decision making skills...
looking at game franchises that are successful there are other things at play that sometimes elevate gaming to new audiences (who are often turned off by tests involving thier ability to think react quickly and use motor skills).

Take for instance strategy games like chess and checkers, these games do not require quick reflexes but rather experience and strategy.
